Unfortunately, Roots 2025 has been cancelled due to significantly lower registrations than last year. We appreciate your interest and hope to welcome you to Roots 2026.  

ALICT is looking to better understand the needs and expectations of the ALICT family regarding Roots. Your feedback is very valuable, please take a moment to complete the brief survey below.

Roots is a week of connection hosted by ITL just for ALICT alumni (and their spouses / fiancees) of all years.

This week has multiple purposes: it is filled with sessions of spiritual refreshing, connecting with fellow alumni, remembering ALICT, equipping and input, and stepping out of your normal life to orientate and re-anchor. To keep on going on and follow Jesus with joy and resilience.

The program is hosted close to Stellenbosch, South Africa.

Accommodation, meals, and session’s costs are covered by ITL, but alumni take responsibility for travel and visa costs to South Africa.

Though we can not repeat the experience alumni had during ALICT, we aim to do our best to serve their journey as Kingdom servant leaders.

ITL to provide: 

  • Transport between the airport and the Roots venue on the selected dates communicated (1 or 2 days before and after the Roots program)
  • Meals for the duration of the Roots program
  • Accommodation
  • Sessions

Your responsibility: 

  • Travel cost to South Africa and back
  • Visa (application + cost)
