Overview of the Crowdfunding Concept

1. ALICT Alumni are engaged in people-focused initiatives or projects that seek increased awareness and funding.
2. These Alumni can apply to open a campaign page for their initiative on our crowdfunding platform  itlgetfund.com. Upon completing the application process, and following a thorough vetting and approval, a campaign page is created and launched on the platform for a maximum period of six months.
3. The Alumni receive the URL link directing to their specific project’s campaign page.
4. They share and promote this link within their “crowd”—their network and community—and regularly update the campaign page to keep it dynamic and engaging
5. The crowd supports the campaign by making donations on the page.
6. When the donation goal is reached or the campaign concludes, the funds collected are disbursed to the Alumni to implement the project.
7. The Alumni are expected to provide regular updates and reports to donors, ensuring transparency and maintaining trust throughout the project’s implementation.
