ONLINE - ORAL STORY-BASED TRAUMA HEALING EQUIPPING SESSION
Oral Story-based Trauma Healing adapts the Healing the Wounds of Trauma approach for people with low literacy and/or people who prefer oral learning— including those who speak minority languages with no written form of Scriptures. It is designed for flexibility and easy deployment by church leaders and laypeople once materials are developed and learned. Similar to the Classic equippings, there is an evaluation during this Oral Story-based equipping session that consists of:
- Participant’s self-awareness of impact on others and the ability to interact well in a group
- Participant’s overall emotional well-being
- Practice telling stories and facilitating a group in a participatory
way that demonstrates knowledge of the content and the ability to draw out the principles through discussions and activities. with feedback on your strengths and suggestions to address areas needing improvement.
